Often torn between his long standing love affair with playful percussions and an ever enticing call to wonky bass lines, The Weatherman has fast made a mark on the growing underground dance music scene in Singapore.
Having a keen ear in his late teens led to an interest across genres, and his voyages through the musical mysteries of labels such as Cómeme, Höga Nord Rekords, Hard Fist and Correspondant were the stepping stones that allowed him to find his way behind the decks.
Reza Hasni’s works are a contemporary reflection of our world and its unseen energies. Patterns of sacred geometry form core themes, along with influences of 90’s Internet pop and club culture.
He held his first solo art show, “Mystic Island” at UltraSuperNew in August 2017, His illustration and motion graphics practice feeds into collaborations in music, installations, augmented reality and fashion around Europe and Asia. Reza is currently based in Berlin.
